What the tool actually does
It is deliberately narrower than accounting software. The goal is one job done well: producing an invoice you are comfortable sending to a paying client.

Why it exists
Most invoicing products are built for teams with a bookkeeper. If you send a handful of invoices a month, that means creating an account, learning a dashboard and paying a subscription to produce a one-page document you already know how to write.
This site removes those steps. There is no signup, no onboarding flow and no upsell in the export. It was built after watching contractors and freelancers rebuild the same invoice in word processors every month, losing formatting and mis-keying totals in the process.
The other half of the project is the writing: practical guides on numbering, payment terms and the mistakes that most often delay payment, so the tool is useful even before you download anything.
